As with most career paths in IT, job opportunities are expected to increase for Webmasters. This growth will not be as dramatic as it is for other career paths in IT, however, due in part to the fact that Web servers are becoming easier to repair and maintain. Therefore, in the near future, it will be possible for a team of Webmasters to administer scores of Web servers simultaneously. This advancement in technology will be counterbalanced with the increase in business moving to the Internet. As a result, it is expected that the demand for Webmasters will continue to increase steadily.
