Profile

The SAP ABAP developer works alongside the other ABAP developers and functional developers, possibly handling multiple pieces of work simultaneously, alongside ad-hoc support queries. They must work with the development team as peers and be able to communicate effectively with functional teams.
As an ABAP Developer, you have a proper understanding of business processes and translating functional requirements into technical specifications. You are familiar with a pre-defined Way Of Working and understand the importance of proper documentation around your activities. You are a team player and open to knowledge sharing as well as extending your capabilities.

Primary Responsibilities

• Analyze the business requirement document from functional consultant
• Prepare technical document of the development
• Analyze the estimated time for development
• Development of objects
• Unit testing
• Support in ChaRM transport related activities
• Peer review
• Conduct knowledge sharing sessions across the team
• Providing support to the users through trouble shooting procedures

Qualifications

• 8+ years of ABAP Development experience with skills like:
  • BADIs
  • BAPIs
  • Enhancement framework
  • Object Oriented programming
  • SAP Functional knowledge (SD, FI, MM, WM) , Retail background preferred
  • SAP modifications
  • SAP Upgrades + SPS
  • SAPSCRIPT/SMARTFORM
  • SQL
  • RFC
  • IDOC's
  • User-exits in standard SAP code
  • Zebra printing for labels
  • Transport Management
• Experience in transforming traditional ABAP programs in legacy SAP system into S/4 HANA architecture.
• Experience in ODATA & Fiori / UI5
• Experience in designing and implementing CDS and AMDP
• Knowledge of agile Methodology
• Be able to work in a fast moving environment
• Team player
• Analytically strong
• Creative and problem solving attitude
• Excellent communication skills
• Fluent in English language
• Willing to learn other development tools
• Bachelor degree required.
