The team member selected for this role must possess the ability to learn new skills and improve upon their current skills-set, a high degree of efficiency and motivation in work habits with the ability to work in a challenging, fast-paced environment as well as the ability to comprehend complexity, to fully understand a business requirements with all of its business and technological implications, and to approach the improvement of its quality from that perspective with minimal supervisionResponsibilities:The QA Engineer will be responsible for QA life cycle which primarily includes creation of Test Plan, Test Scenarios, Test Cases/Script & Defect lifecycle management.The person is responsible for :Test automation using Java, SeleniumParticipate in regular scrum meetings, planning and story pointing sessions, design and Defect TriagingDefine End to End Test Cases in SFDC including cross system integrationsDefine and report daily and weekly status reports & QA MetricsDefine Automated Test Plans, Regression Test Suites including UI, back end, Salesforce components & Integrations using Web and API automation.Requirements:Degree in Computer Science or any equivalent  and 6+ Years of experience in QA & SFDC platformIn depth Knowledge of Salesforce Administration is mandatory.Strong Knowledge of Salesforce ArchitectureGood hands-on testing experience with the Salesforce UI and navigationGood knowledge of Reports, page layouts and customizationsWorking knowledge of Standard and Custom Objects and TabsExperience around Salesforce - CPQ ,Service Cloud, Sales CloudWorking knowledge of triggers, workflows, validation rules, configuration and Apex data loaderKnowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, procedures & testing techniques.Strong knowledge on Core Java, API Testing.Professional experience in a test-driven and formal QA development environmentIn-depth knowledge of salesforce capabilities and constrains with good understandingExperience in implementing at least one large scale salesforce.com project is a plusExperience working in Agile/Scrum environmentAbility to work in a global cross-functional environmentAbility to communicate in a clear and concise professional manner, tailored to the appropriate audience; including both verbal and written communicationsNice to have:Knowledge on Salesforce REST APIsKnowledge of different testing methodologies such as TDD, Data Driven Testing.Concepts of CI/CD are added advantage using tools such groovyKnowledge of scripting languages like JavaScript, Python is an added advantage.API testing (using SoapUI, Postman or similar)Basic QualificationsBachelor's degree6 + years of SFDC QA.Experience around Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) and Salesforce CRM , Opportunities and Leads,Knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, procedures & testing techniques.Strong knowledge on Core Java, API Testing.This job requisition is not eligible for employment-based immigration sponsorship by VMware.Category : Engineering and TechnologySubcategory: Quality EngineeringExperience: Manager and ProfessionalFull Time/ Part Time: Full TimePosted Date: 2020-05-13VMware Company Overview: At VMware, we believe that software has the power to unlock new opportunities for people and our planet.
