Description

We are seeking Agile Delivery Lead / Program Delivery Lead to join our Retail Digital Transformation organization. In this role, you will ensure the teams' success by leveraging the appropriate Agile methodology to enable predictable, quality delivery while maintaining a focus on the continuous improvement of the team.

The Program Delivery Lead will optimize team productivity by removing impediments that may obstruct the pursuit of the team's goals and by preserving flexibility and ability to rapidly respond to changes on the team.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

Delivery

Supports program delivery team(s) through Kanban/Scrum Agile methodologies

Ensures team(s) maintains focus on quality, continuous delivery and continuous improvement

Provides visibility into delivery targets, commitments, and progress

Is well managed - understands and coaches the team on delivery controls, compliance to minimize operational, and reputational risk

Understands domain architecture and targets to identify upstream and downstream dependencies and to support the team in risk management

Proactively identifies impediments and appropriately resolves using network of peers and formal channels (including escalation if required)

Supports Product teams to remove impediments and manage dependencies for delivery

Performs iteration planning, coordinates demos and executes retrospectives

Coaching and Continuous Improvement

Integrates Agile and Lean principles into team practices and work products

Coaches Product team on backlog refinement and prioritization

Utilizes team feedback and metrics (quality, delivery rate, etc.) to identify areas of opportunity and works with team to continuously improve

Innovates with practices and frameworks through experimentation to improve the team and their delivery

Develops understanding and encouragement of team's innovation and improvement

Coaches the team to improve collaboration and self-organization

Communicates with leaders across the organization on a regular basis to ensure transparency into delivery, risks, issues, etc.

Role Essentials:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a relevant field preferred

At least 3 years of Agile Delivery experience utilizing Agile methodology, techniques, frameworks and technology

Excellent communication skills, leadership competencies, and high level of emotional intelligence

Ability to analyze and think quickly and to resolve conflict

Ability to adapt to a changing environment

Ability to work with and lead a team

WAH requirements: Must have the ability to provide a high speed DSL or cable modem for a home office (Satellite and Wireless Internet service is NOT allowed for this role). A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 10x1 (10mbs download x 1mbs upload) is required.

Role Desirables:

1 years of experience with Jira Align

1 years of experience with Azure DevOps (ADO)

SAFe certified Scrum Master

Project Management Institute Project Management Professional (PMP) Certified

Additional Information

Humana and its subsidiaries require vaccinated associates who work outside of their home to submit proof of vaccination, including COVID-19 boosters.
