The University of Plymouth is seeking a Solution Architect to join their Technology and Information Services (TIS) teams. TIS focuses on providing efficient IT services with a cloud-first approach, increasing digital capabilities for staff and students, and ensuring a seamless and edgeless end-to-end digital experience for all stakeholders. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a progressive and innovative university located in a beautiful area with the potential to make a real impact. As a Solution Architect, you’ll join a team of experts responsible for designing and implementing IT solutions in the University's DevOps Teams. You will work in a dynamic cross-functional team and must be comfortable with Agile and DevOps methodologies. Your focus will be on delivering innovative solutions within the Academic, Professional, and Infrastructure portfolios. You will also contribute to the team's efforts to maintain and optimise existing systems, while developing and implementing new IT solutions tailored to the needs of the DevOps Teams' customer base. With several exciting projects on the horizon, the role offers ample opportunity to apply your skills towards the creation of impactful solutions. As a critical member of the 'Technical Design Authority,' you will play an instrumental role in shaping the IT roadmap for future development efforts.
