ITAM- IT Asset Management Engineer

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated ITAM engineer that will contribute to innovating Nutanix Employees and Asset lifecycle.

The ITAM engineer will contribute to provide to new hires the best onboarding experience possible and will manage the C

ompany laptops’ fleet.

You will be part of a small global team that will make a big impact at Nutanix.

As an ITAM Engineer you will be responsible for IT asset lifecycle:

Administrative duties within the IT procurement and inventory management

Maintain records and databases containing information regarding the company’s IT assets (client devices and accessories)

Asset lifecycle (procurement, shipment, return, recondition, disposal)

Managing preparation and distribution of p

re-defined and ad-hoc reports related to asset management

Assist in creating policies and procedures to lead the team and organization towards IT Asset Management goals

Facilitate and maintain relationships between our organization and vendors/p

artners, negotiating contracts, creating standards for the vendors, and finding the best available vendors.

You will also be responsible for the Employees Lifecycle (onboarding and offboarding) that includes:

New hires account validation

Lapt

op shipment coordination for new hires and compliance check with MDM system (Intune and

Jamf

Offboarding users’ account after termination

Asset return management

What we are looking for:

Good vendor management and negotiation skills

Strong knowledge of IT software and hardware (Apple, Lenovo)

Three years or more ITSM tool experience, as well as ServiceNow experience

Good knowledge of cloud-based management tool for mobile de

vices (MS Intune and

Jamf

Strong ability to carry out assigned tasks independently with little supervision

Excellent at performing multiple tasks at the same time without erring

Ability to drive process improvements

Identify any blocke

r or issue and report to the team and the ITAM manager to identify a quick and efficient solution.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to perform remote troubleshooting and provide clear instructions

Possess of

Bachelor’s

degree in information technology, computer science or any ITAM Certification, ITIL will be a plus
