The Research and Innovation directorate is seeking to appoint a Research Systems Administrator to assist in the delivery of the Research Information System implementation project. Apart from leading the Research Information System implementation project, the Research Strategy and Governance team supports the University and its researchers in meeting ethical and regulatory requirements, as well as highlighting the value and impact of their work to funders and the community. We coordinate research assessment exercises such as REF and manage the research information systems supporting these activities. In your role, you will be responsible for supporting the migration of data, including researcher profiles and evidence of research impact, by transferring records from legacy systems to the new system. Working closely with colleagues in Research Strategy and Governance, you will help to engage both academic and professional services staff throughout the University. Additionally, you will assist in other areas of the project, such as investigating and resolving data queries and maintaining documentation. You will be a professional, motivated and organised individual, with excellent communication and digital skills, great attention to detail and capable of working in a busy project environment with minimal supervision.
