As an Enterprise Architect, you will play a crucial role in setting the strategy, technical direction and vision for the entire product portfolio at Freewheel. The ideal candidate will have the necessary technology, communication, and leadership skills required to define the technology roadmap upon which the product will be operating in alignment with technological advances such as Cloud Technology, ML/AI applications as well as system architecture. This role would require close collaboration with Product Architect, Product managers, Engineering architects and Engineering managers to design end to end product architecture, holistically build synergies across several product platforms. As a leader as Enterprise Architect, you must communicate with engineering leadership team, and coordinate the architecture implementation across engineering teams, and a strong collaborator with the various business and technology leaders. This role is an individual contributor and will have no direct reports.

Job Description

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide architectural leadership for technology solutions, data architectures, data warehouse, cloud and infrastructure initiatives.

Collaborate with peers in other Comcast business units and with Comcast enterprise Architecture and IT to ensure alignment with and consistency of technology direction and standards.

Partner with the Freewheel CPO to ensure architecture vision and standards enable and support Freewheel company objectives.

Guide a team of Domain Architects on the application, instantiation and tracking of Strategy and principles into their Domain.

Lead the Domain Architect team to help create visualizations, organize data, catalogue IT assets and help with inter-departmental communication.

Recommend data governance processes, security standards, and models that will provide architectural guidelines to support the development initiatives.

Ensure alignment with Comcast's security requirements at various levels in the organization.

Cross functional alignment with key areas include Quality, Monitoring, Resilience, Dev. Tool Eco system, Cloud, ROI, UI, Infrastructure.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

BS or MS in Computer Science or relate degree from an accredited university.

15 years of engineering experience.  

15 years of Experience leading Engineering teams.

Ad Tech. Experience with deep understanding of SSP or DSP platform.

Cross-functional Leadership Experience.

Strong business acumen and executive presence.

Knowledge of and experience with Big Data technologies, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Amazon Redshift, HADOOP, NOSQL, Apache Kafka, Apache Spark, Snowflake, etc.

Experienced in agile data and development engineering methods.

Proven experience leading teams resulting in the successful deployment of applications built on data platforms.

Good communications and listening skills are critical components of this job. Must be able to interact with development and infrastructure teams, business and vendors including the training and mentoring of team members.
