Technology Lead

Profile

As a Technology Lead you will be tasked with concepting, planning, delivering and maintaining real time personalization projects. Working with the marketing science team you will leverage in-house and 3rd party tools to code experiences served to millions of users a month. You’re an innovator who knows how to suggest creative solutions to often difficult problems and put your knowledge of HTML, CSS, jQuery and JavaScript to architect performant personalized experiences. You have a keen eye for detail and are not afraid to pull up your sleeves and get stuck in with the code.You’ll collaborate closely with Project Delivery, Strategy, Creative, QA and Marketing Science team members through each iteration of work, helping to push your projects to the finish line.

This position can be done remotely depending on location, within Canada and the US.

You will:

Work with the Technology Director on strategic initiatives and personalization work

Architect the technical solution designs for development and provide developer estimates

Oversee the development process, ensure appropriate project standards

Provide hands-on development support to project team where necessary

Collaborate iteratively with the Creative team, creating and adjusting prototypes accordingly

Work with the Marketing Science team to architecting data flow and record user interactions

You have:

2 years experience as a Tech Lead or in a comparable technology leadership role or equivalent informal leadership experience.

Strong fundamental and practical knowledge of HTML, CSS, jQuery and JavaScript

A strong problem-solving, detail-oriented approach

Familiarity with website operations on a high traffic website

Experience with the Atlassian suite of tools - JIRA, Bitbucket, Confluence, etc

Experience solutioning and coding live site modification and/or AB tests using platforms such as Optimizely, Adobe Target, Google Optimize, AB Tasty, VWO etc

Data processing experience with Node.js or other ETL tools is a “nice to have” skill
