This position will partner with the IT Finance group to provide financial analysis and reporting support for the Information Technology organization. The IT organization represents approximately $1.5B of total annual P&L spend, including an annual project portfolio of over $200M. Responsibilities for this role include:
Responsibilities:
Assist with organizing, tracking and reporting actual, budget, and projection detail related to the overall IT Organization P&L
Participate in monthly and quarterly financial close process, including the development and issuance of reports and analyses focusing on comparison of results to budget, prior projection and prior year with investigation and in-depth understanding of key variances.
Support our IT Financial Management objectives by assisting with consolidating and reporting total IT details for the ITFM lead.
Responsible for the IT project allocations model to ensure accurate project accounting financials
Work with the IT PMO (project management organization) to create and maintain reporting related to project data to be used for annual budget and projections for the IT Delivery Teams
Responsible for tracking, reporting, and analyze restructuring and integration spend activity; prepare details to support monthly accounting entries
Work with IT to maintain accurate Hardware fixed asset data and accounting, including support of annual attestation controls.
Works with the IT Finance group to support adhoc analysis
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting
Minimum 5 years' experience in finance, accounting, business analysis or operations role.
Solid accounting, financial, and analytical skills
High level of oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
Working knowledge or greater of BMS financial systems, including SAP and Hyperion, strongly preferred
The successful candidate will be a self-starter, highly motivated and able to make decisions independently. Experience working with multiple levels of management in a matrix organization with competing demands on time and resources.
Experience with development of annual business plan, financial projections and operations expense management preferred
Very high level of proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint required
Demonstrated knowledge of IT operations/landscapes and industry trends preferred but not required
