Responsibilities
The Senior Technology Leadership Professional works with design engineering and test team to drive products from design completion to volume production release. Performs various engineering tests to verify and validate product designs. Supports product evaluation and qualification on leading edge technology components. Ensures that production schedules are followed, and product(s) meet specifications and quality requirements. Interacts with product engineering, quality, manufacturing, and marketing teams to analyze and provide technical support to help resolve customers' product related problems/issues. Begins to influence department's strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.
Acts as a liaison and collaborates with the business and functional stakeholders to execute strategic business priorities.
Advances new ways of working (agile transformation) by following SAFE Agile practices, partners with business owners, product owners, enterprise leads and cross functional value stream teams to produce high customer value and satisfaction at high speed.
Embraces modern engineering practices to provide highly resilient, integrated world class technology solutions.
Responsible for high application availability, meaningful reduction of impacted user minutes (IUM) and ensures customer get reliable, secure, and performant experience.
Communicates effectively to the leadership team on technology roadmap, status, risk mitigation plan and clearly explains complex ideas and technologies to non-technical audiences.
Successful experience leading complex technology projects producing metrics, measurements, trend reports and KPIs that meets department and enterprise goals.
Partners with product engineering, enterprise, quality, and marketing teams to analyze and help resolve customers' product related problems/issues.
Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision, uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action.
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving customer experiences and embracing change.
Working knowledge of any UI framework/libraries - React JS, Angular, jQuery etc.
Working knowledge of API's/Backend using Java Spring Boot.
Experience with Azure DevOps, GIT, CI/CD and Automated Build Processes
Experience with Cloud Technologies (Azure, GCP, AWS, etc.)
Required Qualifications
4 or more years of project leadership experience
8 or more years technical experience
Experience working with software engineers in the development of applications and Humana's software development processes.
Ability to build strong partnership and has proven track record of collaboration across business and functional stakeholders.
Result oriented with solid understanding of operations, technology, communications, and processes to deliver technology roadmap initiatives.
Responsive and ability to operate effectively in a highly matrixed environment.
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences.
Preferred Qualifications
MBA or another Advanced Degree
Demonstrated ability running large scale modernization programs
Experience with technology solutions assessments and/or strategy planning oversight
Possess a solid understanding of operations, technology, communications, and processes
Cloud certification
Agile certification
