Description
The Help Desk Support Technician 2 provides support to end users for computer, application, system, device, access and hardware issues. The Help Desk Support Technician 2 performs varied activities and moderately complex administrative/operational/customer support assignments. Performs computations. Typically works on semi-routine assignments.
Responsibilities
Humana is seeking a Help Desk Support Technician 2 that:
Identifies, researches and resolves technical problems of moderate complexity.
Responds to telephone, email and on line requests for technical support.
Documents, tracks, and monitors the problem using applicable systems and tools.
Makes decisions that are typically focus on interpretation of area/department policy and methods for completing assignments.
Works within defined parameters to identify work expectations and quality standards, but has some latitude over prioritization/timing, and works under minimal direction.
Follows standard policies/practices that allow for some opportunity for interpretation/deviation and/or independent discretion.
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma
Less than 3 years of technical experience
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Effective problem-solving skills
Proficient in use of Microsoft Office products
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Experience working on the clinical application Rosalind and Hcat.
Working knowledge of Five9 and Carebook
Preferred Qualifications
Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
Understanding of IT systems and functions with preferred previous work experience in the IT field
Some experience with Salesforce support
