Responsibilities

Where you Come In

The Senior Business Systems Analysis Professional formulates and defines systems and objectives based on both user needs and a good understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements. Devises or modifies procedures and processes to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results. Validates benefits achieved from solution implementation. Begins to influence department's strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.

This role will focus specifically on the following activities:

Collects and analyzes data to identify insights and recommend actions to initiate, develop and deliver on improved customer and associate experiences, increased associate productivity, and reduction of operating costs.

Support development of business cases to articulate needs for action and standing up initiatives. Includes documenting and assessing current state and future state experience, processes and requirements.

Researches best business practices within and outside the organization to establish benchmark data for digital and service solutions.

Define outcomes that align to Humana's strategy and customer's needs.

Required Qualifications - What it takes to Succeed

Bachelor's degree

Experience in building business cases and telling stories with data, and infographics, to present to executives and operational leaders.

Experience in using Power BI datasets and other data visualization and query tools.

Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office applications Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Visio

Advanced knowledge in using applications to aggregate and analyze large data sets, like MS Excel and Power BI.

Experience in problem analysis and process

Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Preferred Qualifications

MBA or other Advanced Degree

Six Sigma/Lean certification

Demonstrated experience with process documentation and re-engineering

Knowledge of Systems Development Life Cycle
