Daily tasks will include: Program the Extron or Crestron system in each classroom to operate the AV equipment (computer, projector, displays, etc.) from a touch panel display on the lectern.

Copy programs from one classroom system onto equivalent systems in other classrooms.

Work with AV staff to test the operation of the equipment from the lectern and troubleshoot problems, including connections to equipment.

Assist with the planning and design of new classroom equipment setups.

Programmer

Creates computer software. May specialize in one area of computer software or may write code for many kinds of software.

Mid-Level 36-60 months: Candidate is able to work independently, without assistance. 36 months of experience as an AV system integrator or programmer

12 months of experience as an Extron or Crestron programmer

Certification as Extron Control Specialist or Extron Professional

Certification as Crestron Programmer (any level)
