Description

Be part of a team that will lead the way to program delivery transformation at Humana! Our team is relatively new, so you will help develop the strategy and identify new assessment approaches that determine the health of IT programs in order to maximize business value. You will be working closely with IT program teams to identify and remediate risks that could lead to execution failures, and collaborating with IT partners in Technology Agility, Program Management Center of Excellence, Change Enablement, Quality Engineering, High Performance Engineering and others to work on problems of diverse scope and varying complexity. The Lead, IT Risk Management will also drive solutions to larger systemic issues found through the assessment process.

Responsibilities

Humana is looking for a proven leader to help build a highly innovative program to manage risks to major technology programs. This role is an opportunity to leverage your project management, technical, and risk skills to provide a comprehensive view of where major technology programs might run into trouble, and to be a part of addressing those opportunities before they become problems. The Lead, IT Risk Management coordinates risk assessment and mitigation activities, integrates risk management into the SDLC. Advises executives to develop functional strategies (often segment specific) on matters of significance. Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision, Uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.

8 or more years of technical experience

2 or more years of project leadership experience

Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) experience

Knowledge of development methodologies such as Scaled Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, etc.

Audit or risk assessment experience

Business and data analysis experience

Excellent communication skills, both oral and written

Technical documentation abilities

Proficient knowledge of Microsoft office tools

Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Preferred Qualifications

Master's Degree

Six sigma certification

Metrics and report development experience

Humana Vaccination Statement

Humana and its subsidiaries require vaccinated associates who work outside of their home to submit proof of vaccination, including COVID-19 boosters. Work-At-Home Requirements

WAH requirements: Must have the ability to provide a high speed DSL or cable modem for a home office. Associates or contractors who live and work from home in the state of California will be provided payment for their internet expense.

A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 25x10 (25mpbs download x 10mpbs upload) is required.

Satellite and Wireless Internet service is NOT allowed for this role.
