Description
We're looking for someone who is well rounded in the end to end journey of Medicaid Insurance. Our architecture team is highly collaborative and is looking to innovate the Medicaid experience to the growing populations we serve. You will be a critical part in not only technology innovation but improving the quality of life our members.
The Lead Solutions Architect works with partners across the organization to create solutions and support our mission of improving the health of the populations we serve thru architecture. The Lead Solutions Architect works on opportunities of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial.
Responsibilities
This role's primary focus will be on the Medicaid End to End experience, a fast growing business within Humana.
Responsible for designing and configuring the technical systems and application architecture across all platforms, systems, applications and hardware within the Medicaid Ecosystem (and beyond) .
Work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
Make decisions around technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.
Translates business needs into technical systems solutions. Integrates hardware, software and network interfaces to form a system.
Influences department's strategy.
Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues.
Develops and maintains technology roadmap in partnership with Business leaders to deliver desired outcomes.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Strong understanding of the business and able to translate concepts from technology to business.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's Degree
8 years of progressive information technology experience directly related to architecture/engineering, information security, or other specialized technology field
Cloud certifications are a plus
