As the Salesforce Platform Architect, you will be part of the Business Systems team, designing and implementing Salesforce solutions to support edX go-to-market initiatives. You will build deep relationships with your stakeholders to understand both their processes and how their processes fit into the enterprise context. You will work cross-functionally with a team to research, develop, and implement enterprise-level best practices and solutions that will result in providing business users and leaders superior data for making better, faster business decisions. You’ll also coach colleagues on process management and improvement so as to build excellence and competency across the business.
Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:
Be part of the Salesforce administrator team reporting to Business Systems Manager
Spend 80% of your time designing and implementing solutions
Serve as an expert on how to use Salesforce, and other business systems, to operate the edX business efficiently and effectively
Develop solutions to support and improve business processes in alignment with IT strategy and architecture
Lead cross-functional projects to implement new integrations, processes, and technical solutions using Salesforce enterprise solutions
Contribute towards the prioritization, project planning, and ongoing activity management with the Salesforce administrator team, which includes both in-house and outsourced members
Build a deep understanding of company business processes, from the team level to the enterprise level
Identify and select best practices to document, optimize, and automate business processes across the business
Provide thought leadership and consultation to colleagues around the company in business process improvement
Things That Should Be In Your Background:
5 years of working on designing and implementing Salesforce solutions for Sales teams
3 years of project/change management experience
3 years of business analysis experience
2 years of experience working with Salesforce CPQ - experience with other top tier CPQ products can be considered
Big picture outlook combined with high attention to technical detail
Strong business/commercial acumen
An excellent understanding of what constitutes a good user experience
Experience with integration systems
Experience leading project teams and managing business stakeholders
Experience managing outsourced resources
Experience working in an Agile environment

In Colorado, the anticipated base salary for this role is $100,000.00 with potential bonus eligibility. Note: The final compensation for this position may consider factors including the geographic location where the work is performed (candidate’s assigned office) and prior work experience of the candidate.
