Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:

Architecting modular frameworks for managing websites at scale

Vetting content management tools on the market

Writing maintainable high-performance code

Refactoring to keep code maintainable

Debugging complex problems under time constraints

Leading technical design of applications and participating in larger system design efforts

Providing technical guidance and feedback to other team-members

Things That Should Be In Your Background:

Expert Knowledge of frameworks & languages like Node JS, Vanilla Javascript ES5/ES6, React,, GraphQL, Semantic UI, Material UI and other popular frameworks.

Experience unit testing code and providing guidance to other developers for best practices.

Databases like PostgreSQL, MongoDB, MySQL, and Cassandra.

AWS products like Lambda, RDS, Kinesis, Cloudfront, SNS, and SQS.

A passion for learning new technologies.

Experience leading Small to Medium Sized teams of Junior and Mid level Engineers by providing technical guidance and mentorship.

Ability to work outside the engineering space and participate in scoping discussions with stakeholders to evaluate business needs alongside product management.

Comfortable writing technical documentation and architectural analysis ( ATAM, Decision Matrix )

Expert Level CSS Best Practices, and experience with PostCSS, SCSS, LESS.

Solid understanding of Best Practices for ADA Standards.

Other Attributes That Will Help You In This Role:

Experience in the Education Space is a huge plus.

If you’ve worked with SaaS solutions, such as Canvas, or Open Source platforms, such as Moodle, that’s great!

A Bonus if you have Salesforce development experience / an understanding of APEX code.

Knowledge of GO is a plus, but the ability to pick up new technologies & languages and the desire to learn them fundamental.

Canvas / IMS / LTI Development.

Release management tools like Docker, Kubernetes and Buildkite.

In Colorado, the anticipated base salary for this role is

$90,000.00 with potential bonus and equity eligibility. Note: The final compensation for this position may consider factors including the geographic location where the work is performed (candidate’s assigned office) and prior work experience of the candidate.
