The Planning and Analytics department is an exciting place to work, the MI & Analytics team sits within this department. Under the direction of MI & Analytics Manager and Analytics Officer, the Data Analyst post plays a key role in providing University analytics. To perform the role you should have a good level of knowledge of the suite of BI systems, software and tools available, and be able to perform data manipulation and analysis to support activity. You will be already working in a data analysis/administration function, be a team player and can self-prioritise, with a good level of skills in: Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Good experience and knowledge of using Excel (e.g., pivot tables) Good quantitative skills Experience and/or knowledge in using Power BI Good level of analysis, interpretation, and reporting on data Desirable Skills: Good level of data visualisation experience Effective verbal and written communication skills Please demonstrate how you meet the essential criteria outlined in the knowledge, qualifications, training and experience elements of the job description in your supporting statement.
