Primary Job Duties/ Tasks Work cross-organizationally to facilitate widespread use and adoption of the AWS and/or Azure platforms, and developing a deep expertise in the AWS/Azure technologies broad know-how around how applications and services are constructed using the AWS/Azure platform

Coordinate and/or complete the development of all necessary design documentation associated with cloud service solutions

Educate customers on the value proposition of AWS, and participate in architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud

Recommend strategies for migration of existing systems to AWS

Develops high level functional and technical design specifications into design for web applications using SOA, Micro services and container technologies

Provide Consultancy and architecture support for Application migration to AWS/Azure Cloud

Define operational procedures and practices

Engages in developing proof of concepts (POCs) for new programs, assessment for cloud amenability and create business case

Drives engineering processes for the project such as building applications for Cloud (AWS/Azure/Pivotal Cloud Foundry), build automation, unit testing, software configuration management and creating logical and deployment architecture for cloud

Create best practices / technical guidelines for building & hosting applications in private & public cloud environment

Systems Cloud Architect:

Key Knowledge, Skills and Abilities 5 years in experience in complex Cloud initiatives

Experience in developing and supporting and administering with designing & deploying scalable infrastructures on AWS/Azure

Experience in working with large IT teams to execute and lead successful project implementation

Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast paced, high velocity, environment; ability to stay focused on responsibilities, meet deadlines and manage competing priorities under pressure

Ability to drive effective meetings: workshops, design, and problem-solving sessions

Ability to present ideas in business friendly and user-friendly language; demonstrated aptitude for working with, supporting and communicating with users and customers.
