NPP
is part of Virginia Mason Medical Center and a portion of our proceeds help
power lifesaving advancements against autoimmune diseases such as diabetes,
multiple sclerosis, rheumatoid arthritis, lupus and Crohn’s disease. Since our
founding in 2001, we have contributed millions of dollars to the Benaroya
Research Institute (BRI) in Seattle, WA.
This position is responsible for directing and coordinating department efforts
to plan for and provide cost effective computer based systems and services that
support the corporate mission, vision and business strategy.PRINCIPAL
ACCOUNTABILITIES
The following duties are intended to be representative of the work performed
by incumbents in this position and is not all-inclusive. The omission of a

Develop
and maintain strategic and long range information services plans in
support of the corporate mission, vision and business strategy
Provide
leadership for the information services planning and steering committees
to set appropriate policies and standards and to prioritize projects
Provide
leadership and guidance to support IS managers in all activities required
to carry out the strategic and long range plans in an efficient and
effective manner
Develop
strong professional relationships and maintain open communications with
physicians, administrators, managers, and peers in other healthcare
organizations, as well as with vendors, consultants and contractors
Hire
develop, and retain skilled employees who work well in a team environment
to accomplish strategic and long range plans and goals while providing
consistent and reliable service and support
Develop
and closely monitor the annual operating and capital budgets required to
support the strategic and long range plans of information systems
*This work location of this position will be moving to the SeaTac area
around May of 2020.','!*!
Equivalent of a four year college degree in business administration or a related field.
7 years of increasingly responsible management experience.
Excellent communication, management and interpersonal communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize and make timely decisions.
Experience with project management processes and tools.
