The Senior Cloud Architect leads the planning, design, and engineering of enterprise-level infrastructure and platforms related to cloud computing. The Senior Cloud Architect work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

Responsibilities

The Senior Cloud Architect performs technical planning, architecture development and modification of specifications for cloud computing environments. Develops specifications for new IT cloud computing products and service offerings. Assesses the compatibility and integration of products/services proposed as standards in order to ensure an integrated architecture across interdependent technologies. Begins to influence department's strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead ongoing projects, work with other Architects and Developers across various Humana systems. You will be responsible for the architecture and implementation of projects in cloud computing environment. As we plan to migrate and modernize our products to the Cloud platform, you will play a role in defining cloud architecture and mentoring team members on cloud technology and working with enterprise groups to implement proper security and standards.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent experience

8 or more years of technical experience

Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience

Must have 2-3 years Azure Cloud platform experience including Azure Devops.

Must be proficient in building pipelines.

Must have experience deploying Azure resources using pipelines preferably Terraform.

Must have experience leading team(s) and managing delivery.

Must have at least 5 years of experience in .net technologies.

Must have understanding of the full stack development.

Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Preferred Qualifications

Professional Cloud certification(s).

Has both UX development experience and back end development i.e. API's/business layer development.

Healthcare domain knowledge
