Responsibilities
In support of Humana's vision to create a simple, personalized and reliable experience for our healthcare customers, we are embarking on the application modernization and cloud migration journey. An important part of that journey is sharing our resources, learnings, artifacts and knowledge with our internal stakeholders and partners.
We are looking for a Technology Leadership Principal who will be responsible for the stewardship and promotion of the Humana cloud migration journey process. This detailed, growing and maturing process is our roadmap for application modernization and will be used as the blueprint for moving our applications to the cloud.
The role is highly visible and demands proven expertise in IT transformation, modernization, cloud migration, product ownership and management, and continuous process improvement. This role will also provide thought leadership in the area of cloud migration, cloud operations, and cloud finances.
Responsibilities for this role include (but are not limited to):
Serve as the co-product manager overseeing the end-to-end application modernization intake process for segment development teams.
Triage and assign all incoming cloud base camp and cloud advocacy requests to the appropriate team members; follow-up and assist with those requests as needed.
Advocate for segment development teams throughout the end-to-end journey to ensure a simplified and value-add process.
Coordinate the creation and commitment of the backlog for each planning increment (PI) for work related to the applications going through the Cloud Base Camp (CBC) process.
Work with the cloud architects, process owner, application owners and other stakeholders to continuously improve the product and user experience
Socialize and evangelize the CBC process throughout Humana IT
Educate and partner with cross functional teams to incorporate them into our Modernization Operating Model and into cloud base camp processes.
Partner with ServiceNow development team to develop requirements for enhancing the Cloud Intake workflows and to address any issues/bugs discovered.
Provide status updates and raise risks related to the early adopter applications to the appropriate leaders and teams.
Develop metrics to measure the efficacy and efficiency of the CBC process
Cultivate and foster strong relationships with stakeholders
Manage app modernization wave readiness assessments and track progress through the process.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Marketing, Communications or related field, or equivalent job experience
Experience with Cloud migration and modernization
10 years of project or product leadership experience leading complex technical initiatives
Strong organizational and change management skills
Strong presentation skills and experience presenting to senior leadership
Transformational mindset and design thinking ability to see how parts interact as the whole (big picture thinking) along with implementation experience
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Preferred Qualifications
Cloud knowledge. Cloud certificates are highly preferred
Experience in leading technology transformation at scale
Experience with ServiceNow. ServiceNow APM knowledge is highly preferred
Experience with Azure DevOps
Proven experience with Agile development methodologies, DevOps culture and principles
Experience with the technologies in use in the application(s) or infrastructure
Background in consulting or other client-facing work
