MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION: Bachelor's required in a related field or equivalent combination of education & experience. 

EXPERIENCE: Previous auditing experience preferred.  Previous Pharmacy experience in a Healthcare organization required. EPIC experience preferred.  340B experience preferred.

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR REGISTRATION: Pharmacy Technician license required by Virginia Board of Pharmacy.  Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification is preferred.  Must complete Apexus' Advanced Certificate Program within one year of hire.

OTHER MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be familiar with a large number of medications including strength, dosage, forms and uses. Excellent communication skills, strong customer service skills. Must have ability to problem solve, prioritize. Computerization skills with emphasis on Microsoft Office including Excel and Access - need a clear working knowledge. Must be able to manage data and report statistical reports using Microsoft Excel. Excellent mathematical skills necessary. Detail oriented. Must be able to effectively budget time, work efficiently and accurately with minimum supervision. Active team member within the system, at specific sites, and interdepartmentally.
