Description:
The Solution Architect will deliver multiple moderate to complex software solutions and drive the engagement team towards an optimal solution. Specifically, the Solution Architect will deliver and integrate Zuora’s enterprise-level proprietary billing and revenue software deployed within the context of larger technical solutions. S/he will leverage strong communication and relationship building skills to identify requirements, craft solutions, and secure client approval. The Solution Architect will work closely with Software Developers and Technical Consultants and will be responsible for operating at a high level to manage the end-to-end solution design.
Responsibilities:
Analyze customer business processes and functional requirements;
Translate customer business requirements into detailed technical designs;
Develop database-driven web applications to support dynamic content and integration with back-end systems;
Design, develop, and test interface programs, reports, and forms using Oracle tools;
Design, develop, or modify data conversion, data integration customizations, and reports as needed per customer business requirements;
Design and develop software applications, along with reviewing system architecture and functional architecture;
Design and develop complex SQL, PL/SQL procedures, and packages in order to integrate the back-end to the front-end of the application;
Implement ERP applications solutions, and system integrations to align with revenue automation
Implement Revenue Automation solutions;
Provide implementation support to customers during project milestones, including CRP (Conference Room Pilot), UAT (User Acceptance Testing), Cut-Over, and Post-Go-Live; and
Test and debug applications, ensuring compliance of project specifications, and compiling documentation for describing programs.
Education/Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or closely related field; and
3 years of post-baccalaureate, progressive experience as a Computer Systems Analyst, Computer Programmer, or Application Software Developer.
Special Requirements:
3 years of experience with solution implementation in the areas of order-to-cash, billing, finance, cost and revenue accounting, and project accounting.
3 years of experience reviewing and critiquing both functional and technical solution designs.
3 years of experience conducting requirements gathering and analysis sessions with clients and developing training materials and end-user trainings.
3 years of experience with SQL*Plus and PL/SQL.
3 years of experience designing and implementing transactional interfaces.
3 years of experience with Salesforce or related platforms.
Job Location / Travel Requirements:
Based out of Zuora offices located at 101 Redwood Shores Pkwy, Redwood City, CA 94065. Travel required 25% of the time, mainly to client sites located in North America to conduct workshops, testing, and training.
