Our innovative and growing infrastructure and operations portfolio management group is searching for an experienced IT Portfolio Management Professional. We deliver exceptional value to department leaders by providing organization and prioritization expertise of portfolio functions e.g., resource management. financial thinking, demand management, etc.

Responsibilities

The Portfolio Management Professional 2 (one grade below Senior Portfolio Management Professional) is a key business support function for the Humana IT portfolio Team. This role serves as a strategic partner for the Infrastructure and Operations group through in-depth analysis and insight into business performance and demand management.

You will be involved with department and segment organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas through in-depth analysis and insight into business performance and demand management.

You will help manage resource headcounts in alignment with the budget, track problem tickets/tasks, overdue or aging changes. Maintain disaster recovery compliance. Help evolve the departments collaboration SharePoint site.

Success in this role requires the development and organization of work for intended outcomes by partnering with the accountable teams.

Application of complex financial analyses to assess business performance, ability to take on special initiatives requiring interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action including data analysis, report generation, and process improvements.

Requires minimal direction, receives guidance where needed. Follows established guidelines/procedures, establishes standardized and repeatable processes for the department.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree, 5 years in a technology related function, 3 of which in portfolio management.

Intermediate to advanced expertise in MS Excel, with foundational knowledge of PowerPoint and SharePoint.

Using technical tools, perform data consolidation and analysis for special programs. leading special projects and producing metrics, measurements and trend reports.

Process oriented, ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner, well organized.

Supporting process improvement initiatives with financial analysis.

Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders to establish strong partnerships and deliver exceptional value.

Applying critical thinking to existing environment for process opportunities.

Collaborating with various departments across the organization to provide value-add analytics and critical thinking on ad hoc projects.

Experience working in an Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with attention to detail, communicate effectively and deliver presentations to senior leaders.

Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences.

Is comfortable and skilled in operating in a complex operational matrix organization.

Preferred Qualifications

Skilled in financial modeling and valuation analysis

Advanced Degree - MBA or another

Possess a solid understanding of operations, technology, communications and processes.

Agile certification

PMP certification

Demonstrated ability to run large scale, highly visible programs with responsibility for multiple project teams.

Knowledge of IT infrastructure framework.

Work at Home Guidance

To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates' ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates must meet the following criteria:

At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is recommended; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested.

Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if approved by leadership.

Associates who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.

Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.

Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.

This is a remote position.
