We are looking for a Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) Engineer to join our Corporate Engineering team. In this role you will consult with stakeholders, design solutions to meet requirements, analyze existing systems for vulnerabilities and recommended improvements, upgrade and construct new IP networks, and troubleshoot complex technical and business issues to root cause. You will work in a fast-paced, cross-functional and flexible environment to balance diverse requirements and solve fresh challenges every day.

You must possess superior technical aptitude and written and oral communications skills as well as the ability to deal effectively with people in both technical and non-technical roles.

Responsibilities include

Responsible for RFP technical response support, requirements collection, RF Design.

Responsible for RF propagation modeling and site survey's at enterprise locations as well as installation Project Management and technical oversight.

Lead design reviews of DAS network and systems infrastructure pre and post acquisition.

Analyze existing systems and interpret user requests to develop ultimate business requirements.

Create and maintain clear, concise documentation; communicate clearly on business and technical subjects with local and remote business partners.

You should be available for occasional phone calls or other activities outside of normal business hours.

This position may participate in an on-call rotation.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related technical discipline, or equivalent professional experience.

Required Knowledge of Distributed Antenna Solutions or DAS systems experience with providing enhanced in-building coverage.

Required Knowledge of Radio Technologies; Antenna Concepts; Repeater concepts.

Distributed Antenna System (DAS) knowledge: Network Design, Installation, and Management.

Wireless Standards and Organizations; Cellular/PCS technologies.

System troubleshooting; How to Perform Site Surveys. -Integration of DAS solutions into the macro network.

Data collection, troubleshooting, interference analysis, and RF optimization.

Working knowledge of CDMA, TDMA, GSM, iDEN, UMTS, and EvDo technologies.

Professional written and verbal communication skills (English required, other languages a plus)

Preferred Qualifications

You are results oriented and self-motivated, and have excellent leadership and teamwork skills.

Candidate MUST have 3 years of Indoor Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) experience.

Seeking Candidates who have worked at companies that produced Distributed Antenna Systems or have worked on Distributed Antenna Solutions at PCS/Cellular providers are very STRONGLY PREFERRED.

Experience working with carriers to provision, install and operate wide area data networks.

Good interpersonal and customer service skills.

Experience working closely with high level business stakeholders to deeply analyze problems and balance the technical/security risks with business requirements.
