SUMMARY
Bering Global Services, a subsidiary of Bering Straits Native Corporation is currently seeking a qualified Technical Analyst I to work on a project in San Diego, CA. The ideal candidate will have a range of knowledge of IT work procedures and practices. Along with an understanding of relevant policy, legislation drivers and their application to the relevant service requirements. The ideal candidate must have ability make judgements in resolving problems of a technical nature within pre-defined limits, referring anything of a more complex nature to team members/senior staff.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Analyze, design, plan, test, and deploy complex systems software and programs
Develop complex testing plans and work with various individuals throughout the organization to implement
Provide oversight of the tests and future implementation
Problem solve to find solutions to issues on new systems and maintenance of existing
Excellent analytical and communication skills as well as problem solving
Strong technical abilities in various MS software, applications, and ability to learn new applications and software
QUALIFICATIONS - EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION

Required (Minimum Necessary) Qualifications (applies to both this section and KSAO’s)
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or MIS to include courses in Human Systems Interface (HSI)” and “Human Factors Engineering (HFE)”)
12 Years of Direct C5ISR experience with 6 years of HSI and HFE background
2 years in technical specification development
4 years of experience in process development and improvement
2 years of experience maintaining and troubleshooting C5ISR Communications Systems
5 years of experience testing electrical systems and components.
3 years of experience using measuring and diagnostic tools to test and modify electronic parts.
3 years of experience providing C5ISR Communications Help Desk Support
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics
Certified as an IAT Level 2 Systems Administrator for privileged access to systems. (required)
Human Systems Interface (HSI) Certificate (required)
Human Factors Engineering (HSE) Certificate (required)
Preferred
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Job is performed in an office setting with exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, mouse, and multi-line telephone system. The work described herein is primarily a modern office setting. Occasional travel may be required.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
No supervisory responsibilities.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS
As a condition of employment, you will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening and have acceptable background check results. If applicable to the contract, you must also obtain the appropriate clearance levels required and be able to obtain access to military installations.
