Job Summary

Responsible for end-to-end ownership of projects across the entire stack. Build products with web frameworks, application programming interfaces, databases, and multiple Backend languages. Solve challenges that impact both the front-eEnd and backend architecture, while delivering global customer experiences. Works under general supervision and may require training and detailed instructions for assigned tasks.

About the Role:

Contribute to Comcast's Smart Network Platform (SNP), the multi-tenant, device and network service lifecycle management platform responsible for automating the management of Comcast's network to simplify operational activities, drive reduction in total number of outages and mean time to restore (MTTR), and increase network visibility; utilize Java and object-oriented programming, analysis, and design within the Spring framework to develop software in an Agile environment for network equipment management and monitoring.

Core Responsibilities:

Works closely with project teams to understand business and user needs and helps refine requirements

Learns new technologies and acquire new sills

Write code to create robust and scalable applications

Implement designed approaches, including code test coverage, and debug issues, if necessary

Contribute to and respond to peer code reviews as needed

Works with the Quality Assurance team to determine if applications fit specification and technical requirements

Minimal conceptual, logical and physical data modeling with data modeling tools and database design in complex, large-scale data environments

Skills & Experience We're Looking For:

1 year of relevant work experience

Problem solving skills (algorithms)

Java 8

Understanding of technologies used

Trouble-shooting skills

Proficient in OO concepts and patterns
