SUMMARY

Arcticom, LLC, a subsidiary of Bering Straits Native Corporation is currently seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Data Analyst. The candidate will need to have experience with the complete Azure data stack

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

The Essential Duties and Responsibilities are intended to present a descriptive list of the range of duties performed for this position, and are

Collaborate with business analysts and developers to gather requirements for business intelligence solutions

Convert requirements into stories for Tableau and PowerBI dashboards & reports

Harness the full Azure stack to solve data problems and integrate solutions

Work with members of the wider business analyst and data teams on adhoc projects

QUALIFICATIONS - EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION

Required (Minimum) Qualifications

5 years full-time experience working in IT organizations and technical environments

4 years in Business Intelligence

2 years using Power BI and/or Tableau experience

2 years Azure experience

A Bachelors degree is required

Must be US Citizen​.

Must have or be able to attain a SECRET security clearance

      Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Strong knowledge of database structure systems and data mining. SSRS, SSAS, SSIS, Tableau Server and/or Tableau Online, and PowerBI.

Analytics and BI experience

Strong communication / interpersonal skills

Ability to provide strategy and advice and guidance to leaders, business analysts and developers with the intention of furthering data quality, standards, best practices and uses

Ability to adapt quickly to an existing, complex environment

Ability to quickly learn new concepts and software as required

Excellent analytic and problem-solving skills

Preferred

Agile development experience

SECRET security clearance

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Work Environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be borne by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. 

Job is performed in an office setting with exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, mouse and multi-line telephone system. The work described herein is primarily a modern office setting.  Typical work hours are 7:30 a.m. to 4:15 p.m (Central Time). Job may require additional hours. Work hours may change at Management’s discretion with or without prior notice.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This is a non-supervisory position

ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS

As a condition of employment, may be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening, as well as have acceptable reference and background check results to obtain access to military base. Must have reliable transportation to/from work a necessity and must be able to obtain access to military installations.
