Description
The CyberSecurity Policy and Standards Principal evaluates, tests, recommends, develops, coordinates, monitors and maintains information systems (IT) and cyber security policies, procedures and systems, including access management for hardware, firmware and software. The CyberSecurity Policy and Standards Principal provides strategic advice and guidance to functional team(s). Highly skilled with broad, advanced technical experience.
Responsibilities
Role is open to remote in the US
The CyberSecurity Policy and Standards Principal ensures that IT and cyber security architecture/designs, plans, controls, processes, standards, policies and procedures are aligned with IT standards and overall IT and cyber security. Identifies security risks and exposures, determines the causes of security violations and suggests procedures to halt future incidents and improve security. Develops techniques and procedures for conducting IT and cyber security risk assessments and compliance audits, the evaluation and testing of hardware, firmware and software for possible impact on system security, and the investigation and resolution of security incidents. Implements IT and cyber security policies and takes measures against intrusion, frauds, attacks or leaks. Works with senior executives to develop and drive segment or enterprise-wide functional strategies. Advises one or more areas, programs or functions and provides recommendations to senior executives on matters of significance, and as an advanced subject matter expert competent to work at very high levels in multiple knowledge and functional areas across the enterprise.
Required Qualifications
a Bachelor's degree, in some instances a Master's or Doctorate's degree
10 or more years of technical cyber security experience
2 - 5 years of project/people leadership
Experience integrating Security Policies, virtual access and controls
Experience integrating Cyber Security technologies with existing technologies
Skilled at identifying security risks and exposures, determines the causes of security violations and suggests procedures to halt future incidents and improve security
Strong ability to assess urgency and prioritization and make good decisions based upon situational circumstances
Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence others
Analytical and problem solving skills
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Preferred Qualifications
Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
Certifications: CISA, CISSP, HCISPP, CCSP, and/or CISM

Remote/WAH requirements:
WAH requirements: Must have the ability to provide a high speed DSL or cable modem for a home office. Associates or contractors who live and work from home in the state of California will be provided payment for their internet expense.
A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 25x10 (25mpbs download x 10mpbs upload) is required.
Satellite and Wireless Internet service is NOT allowed for this role.
