Envestnet Financial Technologies, Inc. seeks Senior Software Engineers in Berwyn, PA.Duties: Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable code for Envestnet's suite of products. Make strategic technical decisions related to new products and functionalities. Develop and execute software testing and validation procedures. Take part in technical discussions, write proposals for new solutions, and maintain technical documentation. Maintain code quality, including refactoring existing code so they run more efficiently, as well as ensuring adequate test coverage for new code. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create secure, reliable, and scalable software solutions for the company's highly specialized financial services technology products. Onboard, mentor, and guide new team members and junior engineers. Apply knowledge of software development principles, best practices, and technologies to the design, development, implementation, and improvement of the company's applications, production, and business functions.This position requires a Bachelor\u2019s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, plus 3 years of experience in software development. Additionally, the applicant must have professional experience with: (1) Developing enterprise-grade highly scalable Java-based applications using JEE (Java Enterprise Edition) technologies; (2) Building micro-services using Spring Boot or Spring Framework using relational databases including MySQL and message queues; (3) Performing 3rd party software integrations; and (4) Developing RESTful APIs.
