Job Description:

Interactive Brokers is looking for a Business Process Analyst in the firm’s Global Compliance office who will work closely with the Operational, Process Engineering Teams, Programming and Management.

Responsibilities:

Build and lead a team of Business Analysts providing coaching, mentoring and line management to the team.

Draft technical specifications for the firm’s Developers to program Compliance and business-related systems.

Monitor and propose changes to ensure continuous improvement of processes to increase overall delivery throughput and quality.

Provide hands-on Business Analysis.

Provide technical and numerical analysis, evaluation and troubleshooting of existing systems and processes.

Formulate proposals to enhance processes and systems to meet the changing demands of our clients, business and marketplace.

Requirements and Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.

Minimum of 5 years’ experience operating as a Senior Business Analyst, Lead Business Analyst, Principal Business Analyst or Business Analyst Manager is essential (accreditation is a plus).

Business Level knowledge; process flow diagrams, business process modelling and design, driving discovery sessions with stakeholders.

Relational database knowledge (SQL), logical and physical modelling, integration concepts and methods, ERP systems, business intelligence, and web technologies, or the desire to learn.

A proven track record of problem solving using either statistical or practical methods e.g., Six Sigma, DMAIC, PDCA etc.

Ability to write detailed/clear change specifications for programming teams.

Full lifecycle systems implementation experience: requirements/process analysis, conceptual and detailed design, configuration, testing, training, change management, and support.

Experience working directly with technical resources.

Experience of the Financial Service/Brokerage industry (preferable).
