A Cloud Native Technical Lead with experience leading teams and designing and architecting cloud solution for large scale applications in AWS Cloud Platform

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s in Science in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or equivalent work experience
10 years developing and maintaining large scale applications (5 years on AWS platform) including architecting, designing, coding, deployment, operations, and maintenance.
Experience with object-oriented and procedural programing languages, such as Java, Python, JavaScript, and related frameworks
Strong understanding of cloud native, even-driven design patterns
Experience with AWS services, e.g. CloudFormation, Lambda, EC2, VPC, S3, DynamoDB, SNS, SQS, ECS, EKS, Route53, ELB/ALB
Experience with application containerization (Docker and Kubernetes) as well as container orchestration platforms, such as OpenShift, Tanzu, or equivalent
Strong knowledge of industry standards such as OpenAPI, REST, OpenID, oAuth2.0
Experience with MVC frameworks (e.g. Spring), ORM tools (e.g. Hibernate), and relational / NoSQL database systems
Strong familiarity with DevSecOps principles, CI/CD pipeline implementations, and related tools
Familiarity with computer infrastructure, such as networking, firewalls, load balancers, and auto-scaling
Strong written and oral communication skills
Travel up to 20% (while 20% of travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice)
Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
