Description
The Clinical Operational Success Architect designs, develops, and troubleshoots Clinical IT applications architecture with a customer first mindset to maximize user experience and quality of clinical operations. The Clinical Operational Success Architect works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial.
Responsibilities
The Clinical Operational Success Architect performs research, technical planning, analysis, and architecture development and modification of Clinical applications. Revises specifications for existing and upcoming application development in line with industry practices for maintainability, supportability, and other non-functional characteristics. Assesses the compatibility and integration of products/services proposed across the Clinical IT segment per standards in order to ensure an integrated and simplified architecture across interdependent applications. Proposes modifications and adjustments to SAFe team backlogs with regards to upcoming features and capabilities in alignment with operational excellence practices. Advises Clinical IT segment and operational executives to develop functional strategies (often segment specific) on matters of significance. Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision, Uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action.
The Clinical Operational Success Architect has a relentless focus on the evaluation of current and future value streams within the Clinical IT segment to improve our operational partners' success in impacting the health and wellbeing of our members. This may translate into a variety of facets of non-functional aspects and scale to support the growth of new and existing platforms to improve user satisfaction, reduce disruptions and tickets, increase transaction throughput, or enhance the confidence of upcoming features and releases. By partnering with support and development teams throughout the department, the Clinical Operational Success Architect navigates multiple constraints within the SDLC to advance our goal of delivering operational value release after release without user impact. Persuading peer architects, delivery leaders, and business/product owners of technical decisions aligned to these goals is commonplace.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
8 or more years experience as a senior developer in large IT projects
Prior project lead experience
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Consistent history of written and verbal communication skills conveying complex technical topics and needs to both technical and non-technical parties
Demonstrated track record of customer first mindset with regards to technical implementations/quality and use of metrics to detail impacts of decisions on operational outcomes and user experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Technical proficiency with one or more of MS SQL, Mulesoft, Salesforce, Heroku, PowerBI, IBM ODM, or Kafka Streamsets
