Job Description:
Shell Oil Trading & Operations Competency Centre is looking for an experienced Business Analyst who is well versed with the Trading domain, Statistical modelling, Data extraction, and data visualization tools to join our team. In this role you will have the opportunity to drive delivery on a variety of functional / technical projects, support ‘bug fixes’, and application enhancements across the NA Crude Trading business. You will be expected to take ownership of complex business requests performing the full spectrum of Business analysis activities thru to successful delivery as well as guiding less experienced team member delivery as needed. You will work directly with business stakeholders and alongside our IMIT and IT Service and Operations (ITSO) Service and Operations Management (SOM) colleagues, Project Managers, developers, and other BAs to support our Business needs.
Key Accountabilities:
Work closely with Business Users to understand the business requirements and take ownership of solutioning that will appropriately solve without adverse impacts
Work closely with our IT Natural Performance team members to stay aligned on support and operations, demand planning, and strategic plans
Facilitate team innovation sessions and drive team continuous improvement recommendations
Coach team colleagues to grow into their roles
Manage key relationships within and outside of IT - Business Interface teams, key business stakeholders, project teams, SOM team, software vendors
Capable to work under pressure while managing conflicting priorities and tight timelines
Professional, organized, self-motivated and results oriented
Good team player, gets on well with others and able to work with people of different skill levels.
Organized person who is capable to keep track of issues & requests and ensure proper follow-up and closure
Proven track record of personal development

Requirements:
Must have legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer.
Bachelor's Degree related to Information Technology required.
At least five (5) years of corporate IT Trading domain experience in an IT delivery related role.
At least three (3) years of experience supporting Endur ETRM required.
At least three (3) years Oracle PL/SQL experience required.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate across business boundaries to deliver people, process, and technology solutions
Proven ability to deliver against agreed plans and assess business value
Demonstrated ability to influence business leadership to gain support for business change/transformation activities
Experience with integration of data from multiple data sources
