Essential Functions / Responsibilities:
Lead domain technical and business discussions relative to the future architectural direction of our U.S. Healthcare operations. Drive the analysis, design and development of internal software roadmaps and implementations using current versus future state analyses within a cohesive architectural viewpoint, while coaching and mentoring junior team members regarding our company's processes and methodologies. Gather and analyze data and develop architectural requirements at the project level, while participating in the Enterprise Architecture (EA) governance model to further our company's growth in this area. Support the development of software and delivery platforms that are service-oriented with reusable components that can be orchestrated together into different methods for different businesses throughout our U.S. operations, while delivering tasks on-time with alignment to organizational architectural goals. Research and evaluate emerging technologies as well as industry and market trends to assist in project developments and operational support activities.
Qualifications / Requirements:
Position requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign degree equivalent, in Computer Science or in STEM major (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) or related field and 5 years of progressively responsible post-Bachelor’s degree related experience. The position also requires: 5 years of experience with architecting Enterprise JAVA solutions; 5 years of experience with strong JAVA coding development experience; 5 years of experience with JAVA SPRING, HIBERNATE and MAVEN; 4 years of experience with HL7 messaging and web services information systems (HIS) data; 5 years of experience with industry standard messaging platforms; 3 years of experience with near real time analytics solutions in the health care domain, focusing on hospital/clinical operations.
