We are looking for a web UI developer who can design and implement modern, clean, feature-rich web user interfaces and web-based applications for test execution and display of different types of data from log files and databases. Ideally a successful candidate should be comfortable with using APIs in a microservices application architecture to fully integrate the UI into a distributed services application.

This position will be based remotely in the USA, often working West Coast hours.

What You Will Be Doing

Work with a small team of software developers

Use APIs and microservices to enable new capabilities for test execution, data transport, and the storage and distribution of data.

Help regularly provide code review feedback

Use agile methodologies to design, implement, test, and maintain test frameworks

Help write and improve documentation

What You Bring to the Team

Degree in computer science

4

years of experience developing Web UIs and/or applications

Proficiency with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, especially React

Proficiency with SQL databases like MariaDB and/or PostgreSQL

Experience with writing unit tests

Excellent communication skills

Strong UI design skills

Ability to implement effective APIs and services to build modern applications

Nice to Have

Demonstrated proficiency with Python, nodejs, and/or Java

Familiarity with Redux

Familiarity with front-end automation tools such as npm, webpack, gulp, etc.

Familiarity with NoSQL databases like MongoDB or Redis

Familiarity with the ELK stack

Pure Storage applies a geographic based pay structure depending on an employee’s location.

For applicants located in Colorado (as required by SB19-085):

The annual base salary range is: $101,000 - $151,000. This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.
