Job Summary

Customer Experience Technologies (CXT) is passionate about the technology, systems and tools that support the customer lifecycle (sales, activation, billing, support, etc.), as well as employee-facing teams such as human resources, finance, and workplace information technology. These tools and systems are foundational to our ability to meet and exceed customer expectations and support an excellent employee experience. The Technology, Product, Experience (TPX) organization works at the intersection of media and technology and our innovative teams are continually developing and delivering products and next-generation technologies. The (BSD) Business Service Delivery unit is the heart of this mission. The (BSD) Business Service Delivery unit is looking for a Front End Engineer. One who is responsible for planning and designing new software and web applications, analyzing, testing and assisting with the integration of new applications. They will document all development activity and being team focused, they will assist with training non-technical personnel. The Front End Engineer will gain experience in AWS Managed Services and software development using various application including React.js, Typescript, HTML, CSS, AWS etc.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities:

Collaborates with project partners to identify product and technical requirements.

Conducts analysis to resolve integration needs.

Crafts new software and web applications, supports applications under development and customizes current applications.

Assists with the software update process for existing applications and roll-outs of software releases.

Participates in training representatives and operations staff on internally developed software applications.

Researches, writes and edits documentation and technical requirements, including software designs, evaluation plans, test results, technical manuals and formal recommendations and reports.

Monitors and evaluates applications and products using within the IT market.

Reviews literature, patents and current practices relevant to the solution of assigned projects.

Provides technical leadership throughout the design process and guidance with regards to practices, procedures and techniques.

Serves as a guide and mentor for junior-level Software Development Engineers.

Works with the Quality Assurance team to resolve if applications fit specification and technical requirements.

Displays in-depth knowledge of engineering methodologies, concepts, skills and their application in the area of specified engineering specialty.

Displays in-depth knowledge of and ability to apply, process design and redesign skills.

Presents and defends architectural, design and technical choices to internal audiences.

Displays and applies knowledge of project management skills.

Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.

Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

1 years of working in Front End Development using Javascript (React, Typescript), HTML, CSS, and AWS.

Database management experienceand proven understanding of REST APIs.

Experience Working in an Agile team.
