Description

The Senior Application Architect designs and develops IT applications architecture solutions to business problems in alignment with the enterprise architecture direction and standards. The Senior Application Architect work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

Responsibilities

The Senior Application Architect performs technical planning, architecture development and modification of specifications. Develops specifications for new products/services, applications and service offerings. Assesses the compatibility and integration of products/services proposed as standards in order to ensure an integrated architecture across interdependent applications. Begins to influence department's strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.

Architects/creates a well-informed cloud strategy and manage the adaption process

Design, develop & customize enterprise Salesforce applications.

Evaluates cloud applications, hardware, and software regularly

Develop and organize cloud systems

Build proactive performance monitoring, alerting, error reporting and deployment automations.

Align all digital solutions around a standardized cloud strategy

Defines and refines enterprise technology standards, reference architecture, and build tools for the enterprise.

Drive product and platform innovations, capacity planning, roadmaps, upgrades and future technologies.

Perform analysis and design, requirements gathering, documentation, programming, testing, system installation and/or conversion and general troubleshooting and problem resolution.

Lead team spread across geographic regions.

Outcomes

Actively take part and lead the Group CRM Technology meetings, to evaluate and provide guidance on new solution and cloud technologies

Provide guidance on the design and architecture for the Group CRM. Create Proof of concepts to validate business & technical ideas.

Design, develop and support Group CRM roadmap

Role Essentials

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field

5 experience as a senior developer in large IT projects

Prior experience leading large-scale development as project architect and/or team lead.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliverables for more than one scrum team.

Comprehensive knowledge of Salesforce Sales Cloud CRM, SaaS, PaaS solutions and integrations.

Development experience using Apex, Visual Force, Lighting components, Workflows, Process builder, Triggers, XML, HTML, SOQL, and SQL

Knowledge of relational databases, big data, legacy systems integration, and design patterns.

Experience and participation in one or more of the following teams: DevOps, Production Support, or Software Engineering with real-world hands-on experience in building and deploying enterprise solutions

Hands on experience with web-apis, Salesforce.

Experience authoring reference architectures , architectural artifacts & engineering documentation

Salesforce Certification(s) -

Salesforce Certified Platform Developer,

Salesforce Certified Administrator,

Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder,

Salesforce Certified Sales Cloud Consultant

Preferred

Master's degree

Prior experience in the healthcare industry

Working knowledge of middleware & API management tools like IBM Data Power, API Connect and Mulesoft.

Experience with CICD pipelines using Azure, Copado

Experience working with Heroku

Experience delivering solutions built on cloud managed services in any of the three major public clouds - AWS, GCP, or Azure

Hands on Experience with Copado

Ability to collaborate and interact with Infrastructure, Security & Development Teams on one side and s/w Vendor on other side.

Ability to lead team spread in offshore - onshore model

Ability to multitask across multiple technologies preferred

Ability to drive product and platform innovations, upgrades and future technologies.

3 year hands on working knowledge of Salesforce platform

Devops implementation experience

Good oral and written communication skills
