Job Description:

What is the role?

This new venture sets out to do things differently – we’re taking a unique approach,

balancing human-centered design with an agile technology capability to tackle complex

problems in original ways. With a great variety of potential projects in the portfolio, there

are many different areas to investigate, so you’ll certainly not be bored!

The Technical Writer is responsible for:

Authoring and editing infrastructure and application design documentation

Documentation for the Operations team to support deployment and operation of

applications

This role requires someone with experience in Agile and DevOps, strong program

management skills, and the ability to work with development and operations teams

to identify project requirements and develop the necessary support

documentation.

Support multiple global Agile Hub locations to provide documentation assistance

Manage Confluence and Jira spaces for project teams, in addition to general

Atlassian account administration duties

Guide internal department documentation and content management in Confluence

and SharePoint

Occasionally assist with Agile Hub-adjacent documentation projects

What we need from you

Must have legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer.

Bachelor’s Degree required.

Minimum of 4 years’ of experience as a Technical Writer is a must.

Experience with Jira, Confluence, Slack and SharePoint

Experience with GitHub, Markdown and build tools

Excellent oral communication skills

Very strong ability to write clearly, concisely, and accurately

Ability to translate technical information into an easy-to-understand language for

non-technical users

Ability to be versatile and handle multiple tasks and re-prioritizations

Ability to maintain self-motivation and to work independently and in team

environments

Nice to have:

Experience on Kubernetes and data science tools

Understanding of application security standards and practices

Experience with documentation as code
