The Senior Cloud Solutions Engineer, Enterprise API Engineering supports development and execution of cloud implementation strategy within organization's existing IT infrastructure. This role will be responsible for implementing organization's cloud strategy from a technical perspective, including design, planning, integration, maintenance and support of cloud architecture.

Responsibilities

Implements organization's cloud strategy from a technical perspective, including design, planning, integration, maintenance and support of cloud architecture

Develop specifications for new IT cloud computing products and service offerings

Implement software to monitor and manage environments including networks, systems and applications to ensure best value delivered

Evaluate future upgrades, technologies and creating future state roadmaps

Work with architects to set up CI/CD pipelines to ensure properly managed, efficient, and secure integration and delivery of new end user software features

Collaborate with Architecture, Enterprise Information Protection for architecture security review

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent

5 years of experience in information technology infrastructure role (virtualization, networking, containerization, security etc.)

3 years of hands on cloud engineering experience (Azure, AWS and/or GCP) building effective cloud technology solutions

Experience in cloud architecture (cloud infrastructure, storage, networking, security, costing)

Experience installing, configuring, deploying, and maintaining cloud-based servers and services running various operating systems in an enterprise environment

Experience in leveraging DevSecOps principals and culture

Expertise in use of Azure and GCP tools, and admin scripts (Bash shell scripts/Terraform) and utilities to create and configure cloud assets

Experience in managing cloud assets through appropriate standards and security policies

Expertise in Kubernetes to automate application deployment, scaling and, management

Experience with containerization

Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail

Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities

Motivated to learn new technologies and identify process improvements and efficiencies

Preferred Qualifications

Master's Degree

Experience with translating software features and architecture to infrastructure requirements
