You\u2019ll provide hands-on software development, participating in design and code reviews. You will document and implement methodologies to ensure high quality products are delivered to our customers. You\u2019ll be able to feel passionate about the work you\u2019re doing and see the direct impact of your contributions to the product.Duties and ResponsibilitiesUnderstands specific areas of the codebase; able to work in other areas of the codebase with guidanceWeigh in on technical decisions that impact specific areas of the product the productResearches new technologiesKeeps up with industry trendsDemonstrates knowledge of several core technologies used within the platform. For example: Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Batch, Spring Data, Hibernate, MySQL, Kafka, Spark, ReactDevelop secure and performant solutionsAct as Development Team member of Agile Scrum TeamAttend Daily Scrum, Backlog Grooming, Sprint Planning, and End of Cycle meetingsTrack all tasks, estimates, and work logged in JIRAContribute to code reviews, documentation, and implementation of methodologies to ensure high quality deployments.Contribute to the development of the React and Java EE ApplicationContribute to Continuous Integration Testing development environment by coding and unit testingWork in collaboration with Product Management to provide solutions that address the needs of the businessParticipate in Security Training, including ongoing education, contests and security reviewsRequired QualificationsBachelor\u2019s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering1-5 years of related experience in software development or product development environment with a successful coding and development track recordJava (preferably 8 and above) technical capabilities including working with front end technologies (such as Angular, JSF or React. ReactJS, React Hooks, Redux, Redux Sagas, Typescript, JavaScript, HTML, SaSS, CSS are a plus) and back-end technologies and frameworks (such as Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Data, JPA, Hibernate, MySQL, REST, and OAuth)Persistence in the face of roadblocks; ability to dispatch roadblocks efficiently, pulling in others as necessarySeeks empirical evidence through proof of concepts, tests and external researchDelivers code changes to QA in a timely manner that have been thoroughly unit tested and have minimal bugsDatabase skills (SQL). Experience with Oracle MySQL a plusAbility to work in team-based setting with strong verbal and written communication skillsDesire to be a full stack application developerSalary range of $64,000.00 to $122,000.00 (inclusive of variable compensation such as bonuses and incentives).
