General Description of Position:
The Agile Project Manager/Scrum Master oversees, manages, and ultimately owns the successful delivery of multiple projects involving our Salesforce platform. This position will work with and lead a diverse group of technology teams, business units, and vendors to manage projects that follow Agile methodologies for delivery.
Major Responsibilities:
Leads the scrum team, ensures daily stand-ups are held, and facilitates sprint planning and retrospective sessions optimizing efficiency across all skillsets.
Integrates seamlessly into assigned team(s), promoting self-organization, and helping to improve the work management of the team without dictating. Identifies and confirms necessary resource availability from project startup throughout project delivery.
Manages and tracks project activities and responsibilities by assigning tasks to internal individuals and external teams while providing consistency across all projects
Serves as subject matter expert on the Scrum framework and coaches project team members and other project managers/scrum masters on agile best practices and values.
Works with Business Analysts, product owners, and stakeholders to own and facilitate the break down business requirements into epics, stories, tasks.
Interfaces with teams involved in the development and delivery of IT solutions, including product owners, functional users, architects, developers, business analysts, quality assurance managers/testers, and other project managers/teams.
Proactively raises awareness of risks, works with the necessary parties to resolve blockers, and administers corrective actions as necessary to maximize sprint velocity.
Owns and facilitates project risk management practices.
Removes distractions by resolving impediments and any outside issues that may block the ability to progress delivery.
Serves as the “go to” resource for the scrum team, providing clarity on tasks, gathering missing assets or requirements, and handling project changes.
Coordinates project personnel to ensure projects progress on schedule and within budget.
Understands the importance of commitments to delivery and milestones made by the development team.
Follow OIT department standards and procedures for project reporting, and documentation.
Must own and manage project scope oversight and change management.
Responsible for providing and maintaining accurate and timely project information in all project plans and status reporting. Owns all communication to all stakeholders for a given project through formal communication planning/execution.
Leads and drives high-profile mission-critical OIT projects for the college

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or equivalent professional experience required; multiple industry-related project and product certifications (such as PMP, SAFe, and/or Scrum Master certification) required.
Seven or more years of experience in project management required.
Must demonstrate expert level knowledge and experience in agile development practices and tools used to manage, track, and document scrum team activities.
Five or more years of experience with refining backlogs, coordinating/prioritizing conflicting requirements required.
Five or more years of experience collaborating with scrum teams, product owners, and cross-functional groups required.
Extensive experience with core business analysis tools such as Microsoft Office Professional (Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, Access, etc.) Azure DevOps, JIRA, Trello, Wrike, and others required.
Must demonstrate ability to work in a fast-paced agile development environment leveraging continuous integration and test driven develop¬ment and on a team responsible for delivering multiple projects.
Five or more years of experience with agile and iterative development, test-driven development, and continuous integration required.
Must demonstrate expert level understanding of software development processes and procedures.
Must demonstrate expert level understanding of Scrum, Kanban, backlog tracking, velocity, acceptance criteria, and task definition; experience with traditional (waterfall), Agile, and hybrid delivery approaches required.
Must demonstrate ability to manage multiple projects, and meet and track deadlines continuously under minimal supervision.
A focus on attention to detail, excellent analytical, written, oral, interpersonal and communication skills required.
