Responsibilities

The Value-Based Programs Analyst understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas. Makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed. Follows established guidelines/procedures.

Provides support for current bundled payment programs

Analyzes, interprets and communicates program results to internal and external stakeholders

Leads calls with engaged providers, answering questions about program operations, data, and outcomes

Provides internal reporting on program results including financial analytics and assisting in program valuation

Assists with numerous ad hoc requests to support the evaluation of our program partners; Also assists in production of recurring reports

Works closely with internal and external stakeholders, including Corporate and Market leadership to evaluate and expand bundled payment program into new markets, bundles, and business areas

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree

1 years of experience with data interpretation and analysis

1 years of experience utilizing Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Excel; experience in basic and advanced functions within Excel

Capable communicator with ability to engage with individuals and groups; able to put context around data

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with SAS or experience with SQL and other relational database management systems

Familiar with Humana's internal datasets (EDW, Service Fund, etc)

Experience working with medical claims data

Additional Information

Preferred location is Louisville, KY but other locations will be considered.

Work at Home/Remote Requirements Must ensure designated work area is free from distractions during work hours and virtual meetings Must provide a high-speed DSL or cable modem for a workspace (Satellite and Hotspots are prohibited). A minimum standard speed of 10x1 (10mbs download x 1mbs upload) for optimal performance of is required
