Provide a list of the day to day tasks to be performed by the Selected Candidate: Fundamentals of operating systems, network security concepts, protocols, access controls, multi-factor authentication (MFA).

Safeguard information system assets by identifying and solving potential and actual security and risk concerns.

Protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of critical data, systems, and services.

Protect systems by applying role and attribute-based access privileges, control structures, and resources.

Categorize risks and threats by identifying abnormalities and reporting violations.

Incident Response, including monitor, investigate, and respond to security alerts, high severity alerts, potential phishing and quarantine email alerts.

Vulnerability management including threats both internal and external are identified and documented.

Security Awareness Presentations. Including the ability to create and give presentations.

Conduct Vendor and 3rd Party security analysis and assessments with the use of a vendor risk platform and security ratings service.

Data discovery and classification.

Asset vulnerabilities are identified and documented.

Cyber threat intelligence is received from information sharing forums and sources.

Potential business impacts and likelihoods are identified.

Risk responses are identified and prioritized.

Cybersecurity roles and responsibilities are coordinated and aligned with internal roles and external partners.

IT Specialist

Works in the field of Information Technology, experienced in the usage and support of a collection of development platforms, technical architectures or business applications, and products that run on those platforms beyond that of a Programmer.

Mid-Level 36-60 months: Candidate is able to work independently, without assistance. 48 months experience in Information Technology Systems Analysis, Design, Testing, Implementation, Troubleshooting.

48 months Incident Response, including monitoring, investigating, and documenting in a ticketing system.

48 months experience interacting with cross-functional ITS teams and business units to implement new or improved technologies.

48 months hands-on experience in supporting and maintaining information technology and cyber security tools and technologies.

36 months experience in Information Security and/or Data Privacy.

36 months experience in documentation and technical writing.

36 months experience with security frameworks such as National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).

36 months triaging, evaluating, categorizing, and resolving security events before they become security incidents.
