Responsibilities

Product Manager :

As a Product Manager on the Engagement Services team, you understand consumer needs and behaviors and advocate for a frictionless consumer experience. You have a deep understanding of marketing and communications strategies, products and processes utilized in the market. You collaborate with product teams to define the support for the maturation and roadmap for those products within your portfolio. You influence your teammates, as well as stakeholders and key executives, through leadership skills, data, storytelling, and logic. You are equally comfortable collaborating with a development team and presenting in front of executive stakeholders.

Your Responsibilities:

Serve as the product visionary for large, complex, or multiple Scrum teams who are creating functionality primarily on the Salesforce platform

Facilitate the resolution of inter-team and organizational dependencies and blockers to maintain development team flow

Assist in identification of gaps and efficiencies across teams and facilitate finding solutions to address

Coach and mentor scrum masters, senior scrum masters, other members of the Engagement Services team on Agile principles and best practices

Work within the SAFe Release Train and coordinate product delivery within the larger organizational strategy

Collaborate with leadership and scrum masters/senior scrum masters to prepare teams for quarterly planning meetings

Identify and analyze reporting metrics and data sources for sprints, changes, releases, and incidents

Lead scrum masters/senior scrum masters in creating actionable plans for optimization and improvements based on data

Guide scrum masters/senior scrum masters in implementing and using common metrics across teams

Own, track and report out on product initiatives and progress toward milestones.

Able to identify and provide audience-appropriate metrics in multiple formats (i.e., team vs. manager vs. executive)

Expertise in different practices for facilitating effective scrum meetings (i.e., standup, retrospective) and able to coach others on using and adopting such practices

Design and improve SIAM practices. Be the SME and provide guidance, training, and support on AT change and release management processes and AT incident management guidelines.

Serve as an Agile/engineering representative/champion in strategic-level discussions, including around quarterly planning, team composition & practices, and production support structures

Expertise in remote/hybrid/in-person facilitation best practices and experience adapting meeting agendas to different environments

Experience using and adapting appropriate tools for remote team collaboration and hybrid, and in-person collaboration

Expert in Agile best practices and able to influence others in process and tool enhancements, standards, and change

Ensure resolution of cross functional, multi-team interdependencies, issues, and risks

Foster a culture of collaboration and teamwork

Expert in Agile ceremony facilitation and best practices.

Remove Scrum team development obstacles and roadblocks to maintain the development flow

Be a source of inspiration and foster a culture of collaboration and teamwork.

Lead cross functional teams, as needed

Required Experience/Skills:

5-8 years of experience as a Scrum Master and/or Senior Scrum Master for development teams

Experience as a Senior Scrum Master on a team building products across a platform

Scrum Master experience and certification with advanced concepts such as scaling Agile (e.g., SAFe) across multiple teams and groups

Advanced knowledge of standard Agile standards, metrics and KPI’s (key performance indicators) gained through years of experience

Advanced ability and experience with Agile / Scrum tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Scrum boards, etc.

Experience leading Scrum of Scrums (SoS)

Drive and lead facilitation of Scrum teams in creation of Sprint boards, dashboard templates, best practices for collecting Scrum team metrics that empower growth such as burndown, velocity, etc.

Advanced time management and organizational skills and experience establishing guidelines for Scrum teams and junior Scrum Masters

Openness to new ideas, mentor, coach and train others to learn new things

Outstanding interpersonal skills, a positive mindset, and a collaborative spirit are an absolute must.

Advanced verbal and written communication skills to help drive solutions.

Desired Experience:

Experience as a Scrum Master on a team developing on the Salesforce platform

Experience with the Salesforce object model and security

Experience with release management on the Salesforce platform

Technical experience in software development

Advanced Scrum Master or Agile Certification desired (ACSM, CSP, PMI-ACP, etc.)

Ability to interface with, present to and communicate to senior leaders

Experience with Quarterly Planning

Advanced degree

Requirements

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

Certification credentialed from the International Association of Information Technology Asset Managers preferred.

Education:

High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Bachelor's degree required.

Work Experience:

3 years of experience required.

5 years of experience preferred.

1 year of leadership or management experience preferred.

Additional Preferences

Education:

Computer Science Bachelor's degree or degree in related field of study

Advanced Scrum Master certification desired

SAFe Scrum Master certification desired

Masters degree desired

Other agile certifications desired
