Profile

The Talent Acquisition Specialist - Information Technology will be responsible for achieving staffing objectives by recruiting talent for the Technology Process Group. The position is responsible for the full life cycle of recruiting which includes: sourcing and screening candidates, interviewing applicants, and assessing applicant’s qualifications prior to referring them to the hiring manager. In addition, the position is responsible for representing the company as an Employer of Choice and marketing PVH through their recruitment, networking and social media strategies. This position must also create and maintain strong working relationships with hiring managers to fully understand the talent needs to achieve the company’s business goals.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB: 

  • Partners with hiring managers and department leaders within the TPG (Technology Process Group) organization on their technical staffing needs to understand requirements and qualifications so as to identify top talent for current and future staffing needs.

  • Source, screen and interview qualified candidates for consideration for current and future open positions for mid to high-level technical roles inclusive of senior management roles.

  • Develops a recruitment strategy to source resumes, find passive candidates and target specific industries and companies to find qualified talent.

  • Develops and maintain a strong network of candidates. Build and maintain a pipeline of key talent available for immediate needs as well as future talent for succession planning.

  • Assists with the development and revision of specifications and job descriptions for selected positions.

  • Presents qualified candidates to hiring managers with an assessment of their strengths and potential development areas and their overall match against the skills and qualifications for open positions.

  • Provides advice to hiring managers regarding salary negotiations with final candidates and consults with Compensation on offers that fall outside of established guidelines.

  • Evaluates recruitment methods for effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement.

  • Facilitates contacts by creating and maintaining a presence in the technical/industry community.

  • Maintains an awareness of industry news and activity that may affect hiring trends and sourcing talent.

  • Manages all recruiting activities through Workday with current, accurate information for data reporting.

  • Maintains applicant-tracking system. This includes establishing a candidate database, inputting & routing requisitions, tracking candidate status, assisting with on boarding portal and managing job postings.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.

Experience:

  • A minimum of 2-3 years of agency and/or corporate recruitment experience supporting core business functions (technology, finance, accounting, etc.).

  • 2 years of technical recruiting experience and the ability to hire for niche technical skillsets are highly preferred.

Skills:

  • Strong ability to leverage creative strategies to source and attract talent.

  • Ability to manage various unique requisitions with a high level of success in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, MS Teams, and Video Conferencing.

  • Extensive experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS, and HCM systems; (Workday experience a plus).

  • Excellent verbal and written communication while displaying the highest level of professionalism, customer service, and confidentiality.

  • Skilled in proactively developing positive and engaging stakeholder relationships.

  • Capable of working independently and collaborating with small to large teams.
