Description

Humana is looking for a Senior Cloud Architect to join the Claims Cost Management team to lead all activities for the migration of a large suite of applications to Humana's Azure Cloud. We need the Sr. Cloud Architect to define the migration approach, lead all activities to ensure application readiness for migration, work with other Cloud experts in establishing Azure environment readiness and mentoring/training peers within the team on Cloud technology. This individual will have significant impact in driving Humana's goals of moving to Cloud technologies and be a key contributor to the ongoing support Humana provides to our members.

Responsibilities

What we need your help with:

Define, plan and realize departmental cloud vision.

Build holistic view of cloud strategy, processes, information, technology to enable business and customers to take advantage of advanced capabilities in the cloud in an agile and sustainable manner.

Define technology standards, roadmaps, modules and tools for departmental use.

Provide direction and architectural strategy on complex and dynamic issues.

Engage with leadership and SMEs to understand and build a holistic view of the enterprise strategy, processes, information and technology assets.

Set the framework for cloud adoption and migration, lead technical evaluations and recommendations.

Educate team members on recommended approach, design principles and patterns in alignment with enterprise architecture strategy.

Guide and Mentor team members with new tools and techniques.

What you need for success! - Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field or equivalent years of experience

8 years of technical experience in system engineer roles or information technology infrastructure support roles.

2 years of project leadership experience.

Strong technical knowledge and experience with Terraform, Azure ARM, Azure CLI, Azure PowerShell, YAML and Serverless Technologies.

Expert in Azure cloud implementation, deployment and migration.

Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences.

Work at Home Requirements

Must have the ability to provide a high speed DSL or cable modem for a home office (Satellite and Wireless Internet service is NOT allowed for this role). A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 10x1 (10mbs download x 1mbs upload) is required

A dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information

Preferred Qualifications

MBA or other Advanced Degree

Prior experience with managing tasks on multiple technology development stacks

Prior experience with migrating and integrating on-prem applications to cloud platform.

Prior experience with Azure git repositories and Azure Devops

Prior experience with Public Cloudplatform using Microsoft Azure and/or PCF

Prior experience with Migrating applications from IBM IIB V10 to IBM ACE on cloudpak

Prior experience with authoring artifacts on ServiceNow, Iserver
