Your opportunity

Infrastructure Architecture – Work with the Architecture and Engineering teams in the definition of infrastructure strategies, roadmaps and implementation plans working closely with product teams to ensure alignment of plans with business requirements

Architecture Governance – Define and manage a framework of technical architectural governance in collaboration with engineering teams across the department to ensure there is a consistent approach to the architectural management and decisions of our infrastructure

Infrastructure Principle & Standards – Establish and lead on infrastructure architecture principles, technical standards, governance framework and align with delivery framework (across solution, technical, infrastructure, data, security disciplines) to guide decision making

Strategic Analysis, Guidance and Innovation – Provide intelligence and support for the Infrastructure Management team in areas of innovation, advice on strategic IT decisions, technology choices and the assessment of investment cases for technology using clear written and oral communication skills to present ideas in a business and user-friendly language

Business Analysis – Develop business case justifications and cost benefit analyses for proposed areas of spending and initiatives. This includes the directing of research on potential technology solutions and, where applicable, the implementation to support new initiatives; bringing in new thinking and market trends to drive business innovation

People Management - Management of a small team of Architects setting objectives and responsible for performance review and general team administration

Must have skills

Prior experience of managing IT Architecture in a complex organization and the ability to demonstrate a detailed understanding of Infrastructure Architecture processes, tools, and practices

Practical experience of creation, socialization, and implementation of complex Infrastructure Strategies

Proven leadership ability that includes resource management, training & mentorship, conflict resolution and consensus building across diverse teams

Detailed technical knowledge in one or two key infrastructure disciplines (ideally Microsoft Azure and Office365) alongside extensive experience and knowledge across a wide range of IT systems and products

Experience in Infrastructure design thinking (from requirements analysis through to delivery) and the creation of meaningful documentation through both written and diagrammed artefacts

Demonstrable experience in developing and managing complex internal business partner and supplier relationships with senior business and technology stakeholders

Nice to have skills

Understanding of TOGAF (certification preferred) and ITIL methodologies

Good understanding of data architecture and the technology required to support data driven organizations

Experience of software development methodologies and structured approaches to system development

Compensation information

The base salary range for this position is $130,000 - $140,000. This range is estimated for this role. Actual pay may be different.

Annual Bonus Opportunity:

Position is eligible to receive an annual discretionary bonus award from the profit pool.  The profit pool is funded based on Company profits.  Individual bonuses are determined based on Company, department, team and individual performance.
